This month we're sharing our love of funky shoes, and returning to restaurants (YAY!) We show some great examples of simple techniques you can put into practice today to ensure your emails stand out in the inbox! 1.
VEJA SL: VEJA x Malika Favre Chosen for: Eye catching design.
The use of the bright colours within this email is enough to make anyone stop scrolling! The bold red and blue hero illustration stands out from the other more muted colours, telling the reader exactly who the brand are and their new partnership.
Content.
VEJA have used white space well throughout, not overcrowding the email with lengthy copy and have included a nice mixture of images vs text.
2. Neom Organics SL: It's here! Chosen for: Theme.
Using a theme throughout a whole email can give a nice flow to the content.
NEOM have done this well, from the choice of colour to the simple illustrative touches tying the design together throughout.
Rating module.
We love seeing a rating module within an email, it’s a great way for brands to understand how their content is being received.
This is a simple version using face illustrations, keeping it limited to 3 choices makes it easy for the reader to navigate and the use of both an image and text works well for accessibility purposes.
3. Dover Street Market SL:
CDG Shirt SS21 installation featuring Yue Minjun has arrived at Dover Street Market Chosen for:
Impact.
As a retailer who takes a very unorthodox approach to its physical stores, Dover Street Market continue this theme into their emails.
Using a print style design and leading with a full bleed hero image - it definitely stops the reader in their tracks.
This specific email is highlighting a new collection, some supporting copy may have been a nice addition but they definitely have our attention! 4.
COS SL: The poolside edit Chosen for: Design.
A very sleek and editorial style email from COS, a great way for them to promote a new clothing range with a mixture of both product and lifestyle imagery.
The CTA’s throughout are nice and clear, making it easy for the reader to engage.
We also love the small detail in the footer, reminding customers about their sustainability promise - a nice human touch.
5. Bills SL:
Shake up the Summer with Bill’s Personality.
Many brands within the food service industry will be starting to fight for attention in the inbox as their restaurants begin to re-open.
This email from Bills stood out amongst others to us with its brimming personality.
A well designed email leading the readers eye down the page nicely, with clear CTA’s and exciting video to lead.
It certainly made us want to book a table! 🍽️ 6.
Fantasy Premier League SL:
Five-star May for Jose's Burrito 👏 Personalisation.
It’s always nice to see brands showing their subscribers they recognise them as individuals.
Whether that’s simply by using their name or personalising the email through data insights like this example.
Showing a subscriber key information which is personal to them will increase the likelihood of engagement.
