Our May inbox has been full of fashion retailers. Showing us their summer collections of suits, sneakers, and sportswear! What has your inbox looked like this month? We’d love to know, reach out to us over on our Instagram or Twitter.
1. Cos
SL: New for summer: tailoring & textures

Chosen for: Design.
We really like the editorial feel of this email, and the small amount of copy needed to get the feeling of summer across works brilliantly. The sign off tertiary module is also a really nice way to show the good Cos are doing without being too shouty about it.
2. MOB
SL: Your Exclusive Mob Recipe

Chosen for: Content.
This email caught our attention as they have done a great job at giving away valuable information instead of being too sales-y. The content is great as it’s much easier for a reader to find recipes within an email instead of having to scroll on a food blog website to find what they are after.
3. Footshop
SL: Top sneakers online

Chosen for: Tone of voice & illustration.
The colloquial tone of this email fits really nice with the brand and gets the point across in a fun and amusing way. The illustrations are also a really nice way to push to the website for more information rather than giving too much away within the email.
4. Lacoste
SL: Sporty cuts. Fresh colors. Under the sun.

Chosen for: Design.
The large lifestyle hero image sets the tone of the email alongside the theme with vintage styling on all imagery throughout. They've kept copy to an absolute minimum which we are a huge fan - especially for fashion brands - allowing their products to sell themselves.
5. M&S
SL: Prefer not to hear about Father’s Day?

Chosen for: Content.
We have all no doubtably been receiving a vast amount of emails similar to this over recent years. Whilst there’s a debate as to whether brands are actually causing more reaction through this messaging, this is an email which did stand out to us. The messaging and copy are clear and concise, and the CTA makes it obvious what they’re asking the reader to do.
