What’s the best way to get through a stormy slog of a month like January? Most of the guys in the ActionRocket office would say watching The Traitors, but getting stuck into some fresh email inspiration is surely a close second. So, we’ve pulled ourselves away from the TV screens to bring you this round-up of emails that have brightened our inboxes this month.

1. Ancient + Brave

SL: Fearne Cotton joins us to inspire balance

Chosen for: Collaboration

We always look forward to the slick, assured, and grounding content that Ancient + Brave brings to our inbox. This email announces a new partnership with Fearne Cotton’s wellness brand Happy Place – and it’s a collab that lands perfectly. The muted design, lifestyle images, and handwritten typography make the email feel authentic, while the copy effortlessly reminds us of Ancient + Brave’s brand values, and how Happy Place aligns with those. Overall, an impressive demonstration of how to collab while adding to brand lovers’ experiences.

2. Graza

SL: Veg out for Jan!!!

Chosen for: Multi-channel integration and brand awareness

Here Graza takes a vegetable-themed campaign and serves it with a side of fun, dynamic creativity. The subtle movements and playful elements bring life to the content, making the entire email feel fresh and engaging to brighten up inboxes. Plus, extra points for the outside-the-box CTAs (“Miso hungry”). Whether it’s the charming illustrations or the mouth-watering visuals, this email leaves a lasting impression — and makes us want to cook.

3. Kitsch

SL: Your 2025 Horoscope says WHAT? 💫🗞️

Chosen for: Themed design and playful animation

Kitsch leans into the celestial with this horoscope-themed email that feels whimsical and unique. Each zodiac sign is cleverly linked to a tailored product recommendation, creating a personalised shopping experience. The addition of an animated zodiac wheel in the hero adds charm without overwhelming the reader, while the copy strikes the perfect balance of fun and aspirational – aligning beauty and self-care with the promise of what’s written in the stars. This is a stellar example of getting creative to stand out amongst the new year inbox humdrum.

4. Neom

SL: EARLY ACCESS: THREE MINI BUT MIGHTY NEW ARRIVALS

Chosen for: Design

Neom keeps it straightforward with this stylish email showcasing their Wellbeing Pod Minis. The soft pastel colours and minimal layout highlight the three new colourways and make it easy to focus on the product. The copy is tight, giving just enough detail to explain the pods’ appeal without overloading the reader, while the “early access” messaging adds a touch of exclusivity, encouraging clicks. Neom’s approach shows how clear design and focused content can make a product launch email stand out.

5. Armra Colostrum

SL: Become the Dream Now

Chosen for: Design and engaging copy

This email from Armra Colostrum stands out in our round-up with its bold visuals and wordier-than-usual approach. The copy combines informative, science-backed benefits with aspirational messaging about manifestation and wellness, while the design keeps things engaging. Despite its length, the email maintains a flow by breaking content into digestible sections, blending practical tips with a clear product focus. Armra’s creative balance of inspiration and information makes this email as unique as it is impactful.
